How are dry ice particles created?
CO2 is a by-product of industrial processes, such as fermentation and petroleum 1 refining. The CO2 produced in these production processes is purified, hydraulic and stored to generate dry ice for cleaning. When CO2 is sublimated and discharged into the atmosphere during the injection process, no new CO2 is generated, but the original CO2 by-products are discharged, realizing the reuse of exhaust CO2 and benefiting mankind.
The dry ice medium used in dry ice spray cleaning is produced by dry ice granulator to produce solid dry ice particles, which can be used immediately or stored in an incubator for later use. These particles are usually 3mm in diameter and 2.5mm to 10mm in length. In this way, high-pressure liquid CO2 is ejected from the pipe and converted into a snowy solid CO2, which is extruded into dry ice particles by liquid pressure through a mold.
