A fluid ice machine (or ice slurry machine) is an ice machine that produces fluid ice, which can be made from seawater or a certain concentration of brine (concentration of 2.8% or more) into a kind of slurry-like fluid ice.
Fluid ice is a mixture of ice crystals and water with an ice crystal content of about 40%, and its concentration can be adjusted up or down. As the fluid ice is in the form of ice slurry with good fluidity, it can completely cover the surface of the goods, and can even be inhaled by the fish inside, so that the surface area of contact and heat transfer is maximized, and the cooling speed is fast, which can keep the products between -1℃ and -2℃ for a long period of time, and the effect of freshness preservation is far greater than that of other general types of ice. Moreover, the ice crystal particles of fluid ice are tiny, which will not cause damage to the surface of the cooled object.
Fluidized ice can be used not only for aquatic preservation, but also for pipe cleaning. Ice slurry cleaning technology adopts specially made fluid ice slurry as the medium, by injecting ice slurry into the pipeline to form soft "icicle", and then use water pressure to push the ice slurry forward, ice slurry and pipe wall collision and friction, so that the stable structure of the sediment and adhesion was destroyed, thus stripping the pipe wall and with the slurry together with the forward movement out of the pipeline, and finally achieve the purpose of cleaning the pipeline.
