Tests completed on 3 and 5 ton tube ice machines for Paraguayan customer
Tube ice machine is composed of ice making barrel, liquid storage barrel, vapor collecting valve, electric control cabinet and various valves and connecting pipelines. The main equipment is the ice maker, the main body of which is a vertical shell and tube device, several heat exchanger tubes running through the upper and lower tube plate, the top and bottom of a water tank. Icing process refrigerant evaporates in the main body, absorbing heat from the upper water tank along the inner wall of the heat exchanger tube flowing down the water. The water is frozen into ice attached to the inner tube wall, when the thickness of the ice reaches the required level, the beginning of de-icing. At this time, the evaporator shell into the hot vapor, so that the inner tube wall of ice off, by the lower part of the rotating ice cutter cut off, and along the ice outlet.
The 3 and 5 ton tube ice machines made for a customer in Paraguay have been tested and the machines are guaranteeing daily production at an ambient temperature of 23.5°C.
